When getting married you need to bring the following to your first meeting;
Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM):
Download a copy of the NOIM form from the download link to the left.If Australian born:
Original Birth Certificate or full copy. If mislaid, a copy may be obtained from the relevant office of Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages. See the link below for NSW Registry of Births, Deaths and Marriages; If a widow or widower:
Death Certificate of spouse. If mislaid, copy may be obtained from Registry of Births, Deaths & Marriages.
If divorced: Decree Absolute of divorce or Certificate of divorce. If unable to locate, contact the Family Court of Australia. See the link below;http://www.familycourt.gov.au/
If Overseas born: Birth Certificate, Passport or if mislaid a copy (of Passport or Birth Certificate) may be obtained from an Embassy / Consulate, otherwise a Statutory Declaration will be required. See the link below;http://protocol.dfat.gov.au/Default/view.rails
